Ivan Krastev is a political scientist and Chairman of the Centre for Liberal Strategies, and a Permanent Fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna. Adolfo Laurenti od apríla 2018 pôsobí vo Visa ako Principal European Economist v tíme Business and Economic Insights. Úzko spolupracuje s Visa Consulting and Analytics, sleduje ekonomický vývoj v Európe a prináša aktuálne pohľady na premeny platieb a spotrebiteľskej ekonomiky v regióne.Rodený Talian a naturalizovaný americký občan strávil väčšinu profesijnej kariéry v Spojených štátoch. Pred nástupom do Visa pôsobil ako Chief International Economist v spoločnosti Mesirow Financial v Chicagu, kde analyzoval makroekonomický vývoj a pripravoval ekonomické a finančné prognózy i investičné odporúčania. Predtým zastával výskumné a konzultačné pozície v USA aj Európe. Je bývalým spolupredsedom International Symposium pri National Association for Business Economists a pravidelne prednáša ako hosťujúci lektor na Kiel Institute for the World Economy v Nemecku.
Doktorát (Ph.D. A.B.D.) a magisterský titul z ekonómie získal na George Mason University. Od roku 2021 je členom správnej rady neziskovej organizácie Opera Rara, ktorá sa venuje obnove, nahrávaniu, uvádzaniu a propagácii opomínaného operného dedičstva 19. a začiatku 20. storočia. Adolfo Laurenti joined Visa in April 2018 as Principal European Economist on the Business and Economic Insights team. He works closely with Visa Consulting and Analytics, tracking economic conditions across Europe and offering timely insights into the evolution of payments and the consumer economy in the region.
An Italian native and naturalized US citizen, he spent most of his career in the United States. Prior to Visa, he was Chief International Economist at Mesirow Financial in Chicago, where he analyzed macroeconomic developments and delivered economic, financial, and investment forecasts. He previously held research and consulting roles in both the US and Europe. He is a former co-chairman of the International Symposium at the National Association for Business Economists and a regular guest lecturer at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy in Germany.
He holds a Ph.D. (A.B.D.) and an M.A. in Economics from George Mason University. Since 2021, he has served as a trustee of Opera Rara, a non-profit dedicated to restoring, recording, performing, and promoting the lost operatic heritage of the 19th and early 20th centuries.

The conference programme starts at 9:30 AM. The entrance to DoubleTree by Hilton will be open from 8:30 AM on December 1st 2026, when registration will begin. Entry to the event is possible with a valid ticket, which you will receive by email from the organiser after completing your purchase.
